400/220/132 KV Sub Station 22-07-2017 by III-EEE & 24-07-2017 by II-EEE
Sub-station is located in Kagithalapuru Road,Manubolu Nellore-Gudur road and is 27 KMs from Nellore centre. Since electrical power demand is increasing very rapidly so modern time requires creation of bigger and bigger power generating stations. Long and high voltage transmission networks are needed for this purpose. For maintaining these voltage levels and for providing greater stability a number of transformation and switching stations have to be created in between generating station and consumer ends.
Power Grid corporation of India(PGCIL) , 765KV Polling Station Jatlakonduru on 22-07-2017 by IV-EEE
765 KV Polling Station Power pooling is used to balance electrical load over a larger network (electrical grid) than a single utility. It is a mechanism for interchange of power between two and more utilities which provide or generate electricity. It constructs, owns and operates Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission network in India and carries out real time supervision and monitoring of the grid, on round the clock basis.
Events
The department faculty and staff are encouraged to develop systems/ machines/ circuits/ technologies based on their original ideas, research work published in prominent journals, to provide solution for prevalent problems in society.
