DEPARTMENT PROFILE
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is a rapidly growing field that focuses on developing intelligent systems capable of learning, reasoning, and decision-making. This specialization integrates concepts from computer science, mathematics, and statistics to design algorithms that enable machines to process data, recognize patterns, and automate tasks. Core areas of study include neural networks, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, along with programming languages such as Python and R. AI and ML have wide-ranging applications in industries such as healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and entertainment, driving innovations like AI-powered diagnostics, fraud detection, self-driving cars, and personalized recommendation systems. With increasing demand for AI-driven solutions, professionals in this field can pursue careers as data scientists, machine learning engineers, AI researchers, and more, contributing to advancements that shape the future of technology.
The Department was established in the year 2023, with the commitment of continually improving its educational environment in order to develop graduates with the strong academic and technical backgrounds needed to achieve distinction in their discipline. The Department has various laboratories with upgraded Computer Systems and genuine soft ware's, a well equipped seminar hall and a Department Library.
The department is well equipped all the necessary capabilities to deliver extensive knowledge to the students by conducting Guest Lectures, Expert Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Value Added & Certificate courses, technical symposiums/conferences in Collaboration with various Industry having MOU with our department. Conducted by NECG as well as other organizations. The Department's student technical association Computer Engineers technical association (NIPUNA) and Professional Society Student Chapter of CSI (Computer Society of India), IEI (Institution of Engineer (India)) organizes co-curricular and extra-curricular activities regularly, to keep the spirit of the students high.
