About the Department
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in 2001 and currently offers an Undergraduate (B.Tech) program with an intake of 240 students. The department comprises experienced and dedicated faculty members actively engaged in teaching, research, and innovation. The department’s research focus lies in publishing high-quality papers in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals with significant impact factors.
The department houses state-of-the-art laboratories catering to various domains such as Analog Circuits, Communication Systems, Signal and Image Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading industries and organizations including EDGATE Technologies, SS Technologies, Scientech, Technotran, Takeoff Edu, Apply Volt, Green Corner, Star Technology, and Wineyard, among others.
The student association, “e-Brains,” serves as a dynamic platform under which several technical and co-curricular activities such as certificate programs, value-added courses, technical quizzes, project exhibitions, guest lectures, and tech fests are organized, fostering holistic student development.
Faculty and students are also active members of professional bodies such as IEEE, ISTE, IEI, and IETE, encouraging collaborative research and technical networking. The department promotes industrial exposure through in-plant training, summer internships, and industry-based projects, ensuring that students are industry-ready. With a strong placement record, the department consistently places its students in top multinational companies (MNCs).
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for three years (valid up to 30-06-2026), reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and quality education.
