Goal of Women's Forum
- To bring together students to consider new perspectives on key issues faced by women.
- To create a powerful network among the students in order to
strengthen the influence of women.
To draw up innovative and concrete thoughts to encourage women’s contribution to society.
To promote diversity in the society with respect to social values, relationships and work place challenges.
An awareness program on Women Empowerment And Constitutional Protection For Them" was organized by on the 21st of August 2017 by the
women's forum of Narayana Engineering college, Nellore.
Mrs. P. J. Sudha, Senior Civil Judge, Nellore delivered a speech on laws relating to girl children, child marriages and about several sections related to women.
Students from CSE Department participated in the solo dance competition held on 4th November 2017 on the event of Femsplash 2K17 at Narayana Engineering College, Nellore.
On account of Women's day, an event
was organized in Narayana Engineering College, Nellore on 8th March 2018. Women leaders from various fields in India were invited to motivate the girl students of NEC.
Women specializing in medicine, Police Force, and Marketing enthused the students with their inspiring speech and insisted on the importance of rising against challenges faced in the society. Head of the department, Dr. B. Geethavani, female faculty members and girl students of CSE department were awarded with mementos in recognition of their achievements.
