About CSI
Computer Society of India (CSI) is the first
and largest body
of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965
by a few computer
professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing
computer-professionals.
Through the initiatives
of Professor Rangaswamy Narasimhan,
the first
President, CSI has been in close liaison
with International Federation for Information
Processing
(IFIP) since its inception in 1965, when observers
from India
attended the IFIP Council meeting.

The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional society and meets to exchange views and information learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences.

About IEI
The Institution of Engineers (India) is the national organization of engineers in India. The Institution of Engineers (India) has more than one million members in 15 engineering disciplines in 125 centres or chapters in India and overseas.
It is the world's largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in engineering and technology world. The Institution of Engineers (India) was established in 1920 in Kolkata, West Bengal and is acclaimed to have pioneered non-formal education in engineering. The Institution of Engineers (India) conducts an examination of its associate membership. This examination is considered to be on par with B.E. / B.Tech. The Institution of Engineers (India) was incorporated by Royal chapter in 1935. It is currently headquartered in 8 Gokhale Road, Kolkata.

IEI envisions to be one of the largest and vibrant professional society of engineers, technologists and applied scientists in the world, covering all branches of engineering, committed to the promotion of continual professional and intellectual development and contributing significantly to the growth of technological knowledge, skill and capacity building of the highest order, demonstrated through innovative approach towards the cause of sustainable development

- To facilitate dissemination and exchange of information and ideas amongst the members of the profession and the persons attached to IEI
- To extend value based services to the Nation, at all desired level.
IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter
Narayana Engineering College:Gudur IEEE-Computer Society Student Branch Chapter has been active since 2021. With the consistent efforts of passionate volunteers and Advisor Dr. P.Venkateswara Raoa, The branch has become highly vibrant. Some students along with Professionals have registered for the IEEE membership and engaged themselves in various volunteering activities at sectional, National as well Global levels.. Many numbers of National level Technical events in association with Data Science Club have been conducted by NECG IEEE CS SBC..The branch is still continuining its dedicated services to the society and Nation.
VISION
The primary objective of our IEEE student branch is to give more awareness about new technologies to students and providing opportunities for student members to showcase their technical skills.
MISSION
To organize regular events where student members can volunteer in various domains. To inspire more students to become members. To encourage student members to volunteer in different domains and elevate their niche skills. To organize technical and non-technical programs for young professionals. To encourage students to work on new papers and projects To aim towards achieving more IEEE-sponsored awards.
